Selling Your Home?

From 1st August 2007 you require A Home Information Pack (HIP) if you intend to sell.

Your Estate Agent must have commissioned a pack before marketing the property. if yuo are Selling Privately then YOU must arrange a HIP yourself

Your energy certificate can be up to twelve months old when you start to sell so we can carry out an energy report an issue a Certificate earlier for you or we can arrange for the full home information pack for you the cost is £340 plus vat. 

The Home information pack will comprise:

An Energy Performance Certificate

Land Registry Title Documents & Plan

Sale Statement

Index

Local Authority Searches

Drainage & Water Searches

Warranties/Guarantees

Additonal documents for Leasehold Properties

You can also commission a Home Condition Report to go into the Pack if you wish.

Your Estate Agent should be able to compile this information for you.
