Changes to Goverment legislation?

Recent changes announced (updated June 2011)

Holiday Homes - you must now have an EPC if you let out a holiday home for four months of the year or more.

Tenant Improvements - Proposed from April 2016 that it wil be illegal to refuse tenants requests for energy effeiency improvements

Band F & G rated Rental Properties - Proposed from April 2018 Landlords will not be allowed to rent out proeprties in Bands F & G. Landlords will have to carry our improvements first.

Our recommendation: We suggest Landlords consider to start to make planned & phased cost effective improvements  to ensure their proeprties areabove bands F or G

 It is an Offence to offer your Home For Sale or Rent without an Energy Perfomance Certificate
